Forged in Steel produced the structural steel components for the Kamikaze Slide, one of the 19 attractions found in Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast. We delivered and installed the metal frame and steel beams that hold up the slide and the platform from where guests are launched. The giant U-shaped halfpipe plunges into an 11-meter vertical drop at a steep angle of 70 degrees and rides from side-to-side for speeds of up to 50 km/h.
